Tiah Clarke is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, specializing in individual, group and family therapy. She received her Bachelor of Science in psychology from the prestigious Howard University in Washington DC. She then progressed and earned her Master’s in Mental Health Counseling from John Jay college of Criminal Justice in New York City. Tiah has been a practicing psychotherapist for 3 years and currently works at Riker’s Island where she provides group and individual counseling to a range of individuals dealing with Depression, Anxiety, Bipolar/Psychotic Disorders, ADHD and other behavioral issues.
In her private practice, Tiah provides therapeutic services to a broad spectrum of individuals. Her therapeutic approach that is focused on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) but also integrates a Holistic and Somatic approach for those dealing with trauma. She is also trained in Crisis Intervention and integrates her skills and various techniques to offer a highly personalized approach tailored to each client.
